This chapter was almost perfect, and was only ruined by this annoying black hero.
First, everyone's presence is justified. They're not here just to be here, each student who's present has a direct or indirect connection with the case. The right people were gathered, instead of just the main cast.
Then, I liked how the case was presented, and how Nighteye's office has been meticulously investigating for a whole year. It brings an interesting dimension to the work of hero, who's not someone who just comes, kicks some asses and leaves.
The explanations about the drug delighted me : Tamaki will recover his power and at the same time, we learnt that a more advanced bullets could possibly erase quirks for good
. You don't just throw such a statement like this, which means someone will lose its powers at one point
The best part was of course when Deku and Togata became aware of who the girl was and what her father made her go through. Their reaction made the atmosphere tense, which was great, given what is at stakes. It shows the problem is really taken seriously.
I believe that Chisaki is not a mere son of a bitch. His relation with his daughter must be more complex than what we're presented right now. And lol his quirk is overpowered, I'm sure he's not forced to reassemble what he has dismantled (like the dude he made explode a couple of chapters ago).
I'm eager to learn about the girl's mother. She's probably dead, and what Chisaki started may have something to do with her death.
As I said, the only bad thing in the chapter was that black dude. Everytime he opened his fucking mouth was to say something downgrading regarding the students. Gratuitously. Nice to see Nighteye and Fat Guy defend the students.
